2024 Black History Month – Calgary Black Sports Centre

Community Soccer Association (CSA), in collaboration with her esteemed partners, is set to deliver the first Calgary Black Sports Centre. This will include a facility with state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor soccer fields, basketball courts, and tennis courts.

In the words of Nelson Mandela, ‘Sports has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. It has the power to unite people in a way that little else does.’

We are excited to pioneer this initiative and confident that the project will bring to the fore the vital message of uniting black people everywhere, starting with our immediate communities.

Over the next few years, we will be engaging with relevant stakeholders, including the government, on the feasibility of this important project.

We will keep you updated with our progress as we undertake this bold journey to write a new chapter in our city’s illustrious history.

Best regards,

Nadine Niba, Director Community Impact
